This is a gathering of Czech and international researchers focused on the study of the Arctic and Antarctic, as well as related areas and topics. The purpose of the meeting is to create a platform for discussion among researchers across various fields and to connect the scientific community working in the Antarctic and Arctic (including academies of science, universities, other scientific research institutes, organizations, national parks, etc.) with similar research institutions abroad. Popularized forms of presentations are especially welcome.
Welcome to polar bear and penguin territory,
two worlds full of ice,
snow and the raw beauty of the wild polar landscape.
We strive to connect both worlds equally,
as the fates of their explorers, travelers, adventurers
and lovers of the frozen plains.
